Hi I've received my ez reader yesterday and I love it, I love it, I love it! It reads all my books in different files, eg. .LITT, Adobe, EPub. It is not even necessary to convert. My friends love it as well and I think you will be getting some orders from them. I am deffinitely going to buy another one. The e-ink screen is very easy to read even at odd angles. I like Best of all, I’m not locked into buying books from the big vendors and locked into their Bottom line is that it is a great value compared to the others. Soon ebook readers will be P.S. I am a gadget enthusiast. The EZ reader pro is my second ebook reader. The first was the kindle 1 which I did not like because of the lack of native support to a decent number of formats. The main purpose of the EZ reader for me was to get myself back in to the reading shape. I work in the IT industry and have to read a lot. But the downside is that I have to read short articles, documentation etc and this has over time led to a state where I don't concentrate if something takes too long. The compact size of the EZ reader, it being inconspicuous and the format and font support are great for me to carry it around at all times (almost literally). The build quality is beyond expectations. It is fast and responsive. The support is better than any company I ever dealt with. Moreover, the support staff is very open about policies and shortcomings (one or two here and there; never anything major). I also learned a lot about the way the readers work from them. Joe F., Wellington, New Zealand My EZ Reader Pocket PRO arrived safely this morning and you are absolutely right, it is great. I loved the 6" EZ Reader but this is even better - fast response, an ideal size, the trackwheel is a great addition and the improved the ease of access to the mini-USB port on top and the earphone socket on the base are real benefits. Also, the firm lock-in for the eReader in the protective cover is good and I like the rubberized feel the reader surface too. At lunchtime I showed the unit to a colleague who had been considering getting a 6" EZ Reader and she was so instantly impressed with the compactness plus the general look, feel and operation of the Pocket PRO that she decided on the spot that she wanted the smaller reader. You can mark me as one super-satisfied customer - I have added a 16GB SD card and tonight am starting to add some of the 5000 or so PDF manuscripts and documents which I have on my PC. At 60 years of age I guess I will have just about enough reading material on the EZ Reader for the rest of my life! Once again thanks to you and Astak for making this great product available and all best in marketing and selling this electronic gem. I love books and I enjoy great technology - the EZ Reader Pocket PRO is the perfect merge of both. Don M., Akron Ohio It's indeed refreshing to see a company that simply takes customer service as it should be taken. That is, to sell a product and stand by that product with service without hassle or inconvenience. I purchased the EZ Reader after extensive research of all the competition out their in March of this year. I can honestly say I wasn't disappointed. The unit is easy to upload and read, simple to navigate from one screen to the next and a total joy to use. As so many stories I've read about people that have used readers testimonials I' d read I couldn't stop reading. About a week ago however my EZ Reader stopped booting past the first screen. My stomach got that "Oh No" feeling that you get when you've invested your money into something that has only been around for a few months. So, I called their service department and they said they would have to take a look at it and see what was up. I sent the unit back on 7/13/09 and had postal tracking follow its progress and they received it on 7/15. I received a package today 7/20/09 with a new unit enclosed and a letter of apology that the old unit had a bad motherboard. How great is it to see a company responding to their customers with such quick and immediate response. My compliments to a team of customer and technical support individuals that really make a difference in their customers live. Oh, on a comical note, when I first called I told the girl in customer service that I was from Akron Ohio the home of Lebron James --- she had no clue who he was !!!!! She must be so busy developing ways to give awesome customer experience to her callers that she doesn't watch the N.B.A. nd the Cleveland Cavaliers. My warmest thanks to a job well done. |
